What If: Michael Jackson... by pervted-sensei What If: Michael Jackson... by pervted-sensei
Yeah, I know, I wasn't supposed to get started on this until I finished the other "What If" Majin Buu in it. I've got a bit more pages to go with Buu before that's finished. I had already finished this cover, so I figured I might as well go ahead and upload it. The reason I gave him that big ol' hat is cause I thought it'd be kind of cool to have a hat with random childish things on it. MJ was pretty much a big kid anyway, so it made sense. I made the hat kinda transparent cause well...I liked how it looked.

I guess I'll go ahead and do the whole "what MJ meant to me" speech while I'm at it:

Hmm, let's see...I wasn't exactly born when he was in his prime, so I didn't get to witness his Thriller days, but I did catch his later albums. Loved his music. I don't know about anyone else, but when those folks accused that man of child molestation, I just laughed, shook my head and said, "Yeah, right, if that's true then my birth mother is The Queen of Sheba." I was pretty young, but was old enough to understand what was going on. What kills me is how people still believe he did that crap when the accuser even admitted that it wasn't true, and that his father only wanted a load of money. Check for the audio on Youtube if you need proof. But it's funny how the media won't tell you about them confessing that the child molestation claims were bullshit. Anyways, aside from his music, his personality and personal life always fascinated me. He seemed to be a fun loving, joking, humble, gentleman type of guy. He's the type of guy I'd want to marry. He wasn't the weirdo-wacko guy that the media made him out to be. Another thing people bitched about was how his skin turned white. He couldn't help it, he had vitiligo. What did you want the man to do, let his skin turn white but put on brown-ish type makeup to still make him look black? Poor guy had it bad. Not only did he have vitiligo, he also had lupus, a asshole-ish abusive father (who called him ugly and "big nose" when he was younger), had to deal with bullshit allegations of child molestation, the ASS RETARDED media/tabloids, people he thought were friends betraying him...hell, if I had that kind of life, I'd die early too. That's too much bullshit for one man to go through.

By the way, there is a actual MJ comic about his life by Bluewater Productions.

it's very unfortunate that Michael was the one who got caught with vitiligo. he said it was genetic on his dad's side and he got it. too bad the stupid ass media wouldn't leave it alone and make up all sorts of lies.

Dang, now I feel bad. :(
Stupid media...
The courts should have forced them to put it out there, very clearly, that he didn't bleach his skin or molest kids...because that's just wrong.

yeah i know where you coming from with this. everyone is so quick to getting rich or famous (im talking about reporters tryin to make a big hit) that they dont care about anyone's life they fuck up along the way. so yeah i agree with everything you said. except im a guy and rather not marry another man lol.

btw, michael jackson did help SEGA back then with sonic the hedgehog's music. found out in an interview by black and white magazine.

"
B&W: Can you clarify the rumor that Michael had in 1993 composed the music for Sonic 3 video game, for which you havel been credited?

Buxer: Iíve never played the game so I do not know what tracks on which Michael and I have worked the developers have kept, but we did compose music for the game. Michael called me at the time for help on this project, and thatís what I did.
And if he is not credited for composing the music, itís because he was not happy with the result sound coming out of the console. At the time, game consoles did not allow an optimal sound reproduction, and Michael found it frustrating. He did not want to be associated with a product that devalued his musicÖ

B&W: One of the surprising things in this soundtrack is that you can hear the chords from Stranger in Moscow, which is supposed to have been composed laterÖ

Buxer: Yes, Michael and I had composed those chords for the game, and it has been used as base for Stranger in Moscow.

lmao I hear ya.

Ah, I've heard about that. What's so strange about that is how I loved the music in that game back in the day and now I know why lmao Back when I was little it was my favorite video game. lol

Great work! I feel you've caotured him in his good-looking days, when he was in his twenties/ thirties.
It's true what you said about him. In the end he was dogged by the media, the people he used to trust... it is quite sad actually.
I'm going to do a michael jackson tribute too.

Thank you! To me, he was good-looking up until the day he died. He looked young for a 50 year old. I think you should do one. Are you going to just draw a portrait or are you going to try a comic? lol Oh yeah, and thanks for the faves! :glomp:

I see what you mean, but I think he looked better when he was younger...
I'm planning on doing a simple portrait, it'll be full body. The reference is from the early nineties.
And you're welcome :)

I still believe he did not die of a drug overdose but rather a broken heart.
He loved kids, not in a sexual way but in a loving way. He really did want to help all kinds of kids of the world. And whenever the world or the media see something that is different they attack it. He was different because he was not getting married five million times, he wasn't getting his kids taken from him every five minutes, he was always on the cover a magazine saying that he had a one night stand with Angelina Jo Lee. He was a different.
So I think after the second accuser he just kind of gave up on the kids. Not really kids themselves but the parents that were over the kids. I thought one time I heard him say he loved children because they are so innocence and he hated adults because they lied.
I actually feel the same way. I am a cashier at walmart and when kids come through my line I love it. I am always talking to them. Kids do have that trust factor to them, I know they can be liars too but nothing like adults are. So I understood him on that level.
Always remember that the media will attack anything that is different.
I never even knew MJ had lupus that must have sucked. XD Though I wonder too what would have happened if he would have never gotten Vitoligo. Though I am also a person that doesn't see MJ in his later years as a "White Man". Either way I saw him as a man that made beautiful music that I love and will always listen too. I never saw color. Whatever skin color he was at whatever time period the CD came out I loved it anyways. Like my favorite CD of his would have to be either BAD or Invincible. And in all honestly my least favorite is Thriller. I love all the stuff he wrote. He wrote some stuff on Thriller but the majority of his witting came out in Dangerous and BAD and especially HISTORY. Loved History. lol Anyways. Love the piece. Very awesome painting.

You know what, I agree with EVERYTHING you just said. It's so true. All he wanted to do was heal the world and help children, and the media condemned him for it. He was one of the first and only celebrities that I respected as a artist, and as a person. He had such class and selflessness about him.

His skin color didn't matter to me either. It's not like he could control it.

I really appreciate the comment. :-)
